Session H4 DPB FIP: Invited Session: Science Diplomacy: Accelerator Based Science in Korea

I'd like to let you know about a session at the APS April meeting that should be of interest to members of AKPA.  
The session is "Science Diplomacy: Accelerator-based Science in Korea."

We have a distinguished group of invited speakers:

  • Won Namkung,  Introduction to Korean Accelerator Science and activities in industrial accelerators  
  • Dong-pil Min, The KoRIA project (or Role of Accelerators in Korean Science Policy)  (Beller Lecturer for 2012)
  • Moohyun Cho,  Synchrotron Radiation and X-ray FEL projects in Korea 
The session chair will be Kwang-je Kim of ANL.
This session co-sponsored by FIP and the Division of Physics of Beams
