The Department of Physics at the University of Seoul invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of assistant or associate professor in Computational Physics starting March 1, 2016.
We are looking for a computational physicist who will teach introductory and advanced physics courses as well as computational courses. He or she is expected to conduct his/her own computational physics research program with graduate and undergraduate students. Our department has a national top computational facility among physics institutions in Korea and it will be accessible to help his/her research program. Experiences in HPC and in big data analyses are thus encouraged. A start up research fund will also be available.
