(1) AKPA Annual Meeting (Sunday) & AKPA Traditional APS March Wednesday Dinner Meeting


Note: Both meetings will be held at the same place ( "Seafood Palace" : Chinese restaurant)


A) AKPA Annual Meeting

B) AKPA Traditional APS March Wednesday Dinner Meeting:

Date: March 22 (Wed), 2000

The restaurant is located approximately two miles from the Minneapolis Convention Center.


We can use either a shuttle bus (hourly shuttle service from the Convention Center to the restaurant area is available.


Cost: $1.00 per person one-way

or a taxi (Guests can take a taxi to the restaurant as a group of 4.Approximate Cost: $5.00 per ride.).

The $20.00 per person price includes main dishes as well as one soft drink, tip, & tax.

(2) AKPA Presidential Election 2000

The AKPA Election 2000 materials have been mailed to members for the election of AKPA 23rd President and

AKPA auditor . You should expect to receive the mail this week. Please take a moment and send the ballot back using the enclosed (postage paid) return envelope.


If you did not do so already, please send your membership due for your ballot to be valid.

The ballot needs to be received by no later than March 10th for announcement at the AKPA Annual Meeting on Sunday (March 19, 2000).

The Awards committee has been reviewing the applications. Awardees will be announced during the AKPA

annual meeting (March 19, Sunday) at the APS Meeting in Minneapolis.

(4) AKPA Newsletter Special Edition (Millennium Issue)

The Millennium Issue of the AKPA Newsletter is in printing and will be distributed this week.
