2005 Outstanding Young Research Award of the Association of Korean Physicists in America

Greetings Fellow Members!

It is my great pleasure to announce that Dr. Inseok Song, Gemini Observatory Lab, was elected as the winner of the 2005 Outstanding Young Research Award of the Association of Korean Physicists in America, with a cash award of one thousand dollars. The OYRA Committee quoted that Dr. Song has made an outstanding contribution to a systematic search for extra-solar planets with the Hubble Space Telescope in his young research career.

The OYRA Committee has also praised Dr. Seok-Hwan Chung, Argonne National Lab, with the OYRA 2005 Honorable Mention to encourage him to continue to make contributions to the cutting edge field of nano-science.

Please join me to congratulate Dr. Inseok Song and Dr. Seok-Hwan Chung for their outstanding contribution and wish them continued success in their career for the Physics Community of the world.
